Wubi on Ubuntu 8.04
Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron includes the Wubi installation feature which is a brand new way for Windows users to install Ubuntu by using an .exe file. With no dedicated partition and no affect on the current bootloader users can dual boot. Select wubi .exe from the CD root folder and Ubuntu will install like any other windows application.
I’m happy to see this included with Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron because it makes it that much easier for Windows users to get used to Ubuntu and other Linux distributions without affecting their current system setup.
