Ubuntu 9.10 RC Release
The Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala Release Candidate has been released and is available for download. In addition to the GNOME version of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu Studio, and Mythbuntu versions have also been released. Anticipation continues to build for next weeks’ release of the Ubuntu 9.10 stable version which will provide significant improvements and updates to the popular Ubuntu Linux desktop.

Ubuntu 9.10 is ok and has avery good interface. But one problem with it is that after downloading and installing a programme sucessfully u will see apop up window telling u the installation was unseccesfull which isnt true. u will check and and the application is well insatlled.
I am running Ubuntu 10.10 on a dual boot environment with Windows XP Professional. The new Grub2 bootloader is excellent and the setup went pretty smoothly(about 2 hours for both). I wish I could just use Ubuntu – no popup windows, viruses, or spyware – it just works!
