About
Articles here are written by Andrew Weber, blogger from BeginLinux.com and the occasional guest.
I am a basic desktop users that is slowly increasing my talents by following desktop tutorials. I also blog about Linux-related news topics.
I started blogging here because my primary Linux blog, http://beginlinux.com/blog, containes more lengthy tutorials and in-depth projects. I wanted somewhere to share snippets of information, notes and my daily thoughts about Linux.
Thank you for stopping by.

Your forum at http://www.beginlinux.net/ doesn’t seem to be up.
It’s up from here…note that the forum activities have been moved to http://beginlinux.com/forum. see you there…
It would help if the “about” page corrects the forum URL…unless of course, they really don’t want new participants. Just saying!
Something I’d like to see added to the ‘about’ page is:
– who’s behind the articles/tutorials/etc…
– what’s their portfolio/background
– where did the idea come from to start this site.
– some funny story’s about the site/history of the site?
– …
I’m commenting with the sole intention to make it a better place 😉

Hi beginlinux
I was pointed to your twitter page by someone who was impressed with the background. As am I. If this was your work would you be interested in producing something similar but with a different theme and for it to be released under CC? You have my email address please get in touch if you think you might be interested.
